The Vaults Group, the UK & Ireland’s largest private independent safe deposit box provider, opened their new state-of-the-art safe facility in Belfast, following a 6-week fit out completed by Marcon.

With the closure of most bank safe deposit businesses in Northern Ireland, Belfast Vaults marks a significant step forward in meeting the growing demand for top-tier vaults and secure deposit boxes here and will provide a much-needed service for security-conscious individuals and businesses.

The new facility has been constructed with the utmost attention to detail, which includes the manufacture of several bespoke items and the latest advancements in security technology.  These include 24-hour monitoring, seismic shock sensors, fog cloak system, and biometric identification technology providing customers with complete peace of mind and confidentiality, with box access limited to only the authorised person.

In addition to its robust security measures, the facility provides clients with a host of modern amenities to enhance their storage experience. Private viewing rooms equipped with the latest technology allow clients to access and inspect their belongings in a discreet and comfortable environment. The facility also offers personalized safety deposit boxes in various sizes, ensuring a tailored solution to suit individual storage needs.  These can be rented from less than £4 per week or as little as £200 per year

Marcon’s fit out works included all specialist joinery works including bespoke reception desk, shopfront, signage, MEP installations, Partitions, Wall Linings including The Vault, turnstile as well as co-ordination and integration with specialist security providers.

Contracts Manager at Marcon, Ross Mullan, commented; “We are delighted to see Belfast Vaults opening following successful completion of the fit-out phase. The facility sets a new standard for secure storage in Belfast, combining advanced security measures with a client-focused approach. We really enjoyed working with the team at The Vaults Group and we are confident that their new state-of-the-art facility will provide individuals and businesses with the peace of mind they deserve when it comes to protecting their most valuable possessions.”

Séamus Fahy, co-founder and chief executive of The Vaults Group and co-owner of Belfast Vaults said:
“We’re looking forward to providing a much-needed service for customers across Northern Ireland, that will ultimately give peace of mind to people who require a safe haven for their valuable and irreplaceable possessions. Cost-cutting measures at high street banks means that secure storage has largely been phased out with customers being left with nowhere to store their treasured items.”

Séamus continued:
“Our customer base is extremely varied – it is not just high net worth individuals. We have younger people wanting to store their crypto-currency and regularly converting their savings into gold, older people safeguarding their family heirlooms and increasingly, businesses choosing to store irreplaceable data.”
