The MacNaughton Blair Charity Committee is thrilled to announce the presentation of donation checks to our esteemed charity partners, Aware NI and Community Rescue Service. These funds were raised through the participation of our dedicated teams in two remarkable events.
Teams from MacBlair, Watershed, Doorways, Wood Floor Warehouse, and P.McDermott & Sons Omagh joined forces to conquer the challenging heights of Slieve Donard in support of the Community Rescue Service. Through their admirable efforts, a remarkable sum of £6,500 was raised, to go towards providing vital resources to aid CRS.
Additionally, our determined participants undertook the Giant Steps challenge to benefit Aware NI, an organisation dedicated to mental health awareness. Their commitment paid off, as they successfully raised £5,000 to support the invaluable work carried out by Aware NI.
But our charitable endeavours don’t end there! The MacBlair team recently completed the Aware NI Viking Boat race, and all teams are now gearing up for the Community Rescue Service – Bann River Raft Race scheduled for next month. Our enthusiasm remains unwavering as we continue to rally for these deserving causes.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed and supported our teams throughout these challenges. Your unwavering support plays a significant role in assisting these charities as they carry out their extraordinary work within local communities.
