Local Northern Ireland Business wines award for bilingual Irish and English services

We are thrilled to announce that as a local wine business, Absolute Organic Wine Limited, has been awarded the prestigious GRADAIM Gnó na hÉireann (Irish Business Award) 2024 for the use of both Irish and English in business.

Absolute Organic Wine Limited is the only specialist Organic and Vegan Wine company in Ireland and the UK to provide such bilingual services, and for who “gnó” literally means “business” at An tionad Fiona Wine Centre in Draperstown, Co.Derry.

GRADAIM is a recognition scheme from, Glór na nGael, the Irish language organisation set up to promote the use of Irish throughout the island of Ireland through acknowledging the speaking and use of the Irish language in business and by businesses.

The awards or “gradaim” are presented to businesses for their efforts in the use of Irish in the three main categories, namely 1. Signage 2. Branding and Marketing 2. Irish Language Customer & Client Service.

The recognition from GRADAIM Gnó na hÉjreann 2024 is to advise the public that Absolute Organic Wine Limited has been presented with awards in the bilingual use of Irish and English the below categories:

Signage: Gold

Marketing and Branding: Gold

Service in Irish: Silver
