I’m incredibly proud to have recently stepped into the role of Conference & Events Manager at the Slieve Donard, taking over from Nora after an amazing 44 years. It’s such an exciting new chapter for me both personally and professionally, and I feel very fortunate to be doing a job I genuinely love — bringing people together, creating memorable experiences and showcasing everything that makes this hotel so special. Newcastle has always meant a lot to me personally too, as my husband and I got married at the beautiful Slieve Donard 9 years ago, so working in such a meaningful place feels very special.
Family is at the centre of everything I do. I’m a mum to three amazing children, with my eldest now 6, so life is wonderfully busy, loud, and full of fun. Outside of work, most of my time is spent making memories with my family — from football matches and swimming lessons to pony rides and weekend adventures. I’m someone who loves people, loves a good laugh, and believes the best moments are often the simplest ones shared with the people who matter most.
