With less than two weeks to go until entries close, entrants across Northern Ireland’s IT sector are being urged to submit their nominations for the 2026 Belfast Telegraph IT Awards in partnership with Telefónica Tech.
The deadline for entries is Friday 2nd October, and the winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony hosted by Shane Todd on Friday November 13th at The Mac, Belfast.
Telefónica Tech is returning as headline sponsor of the awards programme, the most prestigious of its kind in Northern Ireland.
Ellen Dickson, vice president of enterprise health services at Telefónica Tech, said: “The awards will once again be a celebration of the innovation, talent and world-class digital leadership thriving here in Northern Ireland.
“This is especially important now, when exceptional companies are having to rise to the challenges created by global constraints, geopolitical turbulence and economic disruption.”
She said the event celebrated an expanding industry in Northern Ireland.
“As our tech sector continues to grow and evolve, these awards provide a vital platform to recognise the individuals and organisations shaping our future. Thanks to the support and partnership from the Belfast Telegraph, we have worked hard to create and grow a credible awards initiative which truly reflects the continuing growth of this important industry.
“We are excited to announce some new categories this year, reflecting how the sector continues to evolve, and welcome some new, highly credible leaders to our panel of judges.
Martin Breen, Executive Editor of Belfast Telegraph publisher Mediahuis in Northern Ireland, added: “We are delighted to partner with Telefónica Tech once more to host the 2026 Belfast Telegraph IT Awards.
“We’re honoured to have the support of Telefónica Tech for the sixth year in a row to hold an event highlighting the many achievements of the IT sector in Northern Ireland. Our IT Awards never fail to deliver an entertaining and uplifting night for all who attend.”
