The All-Ireland Sustainability Awards 2024, held in partnership with Climeaction, are entering the final countdown. With only days remaining until the entry deadline of 1 p.m. on Friday, September 6th, this is your last chance to showcase your contributions to sustainability and gain recognition on a prestigious platform that celebrates the best in sustainable innovation across the Island of Ireland.

The Awards feature 17 categories, including housing, buildings, and construction, green export, tech for good, food waste reduction, and biodiversity, supported by partners including Danske Bank, NIE Networks, AD Sustainability, Everun, InterTradeIreland, Visit Belfast and Adler and Allan.

Danielle McCormick, Founder of the All-Ireland Sustainability Awards, emphasises the importance of these final days: “We are on the brink of closing entries for what promises to be a landmark event in sustainability. If you’ve been working on a project you believe deserves recognition, now is the time to share it. Your efforts are vital to driving the sustainability agenda forward across Ireland.”

Wondering what judges might be looking for in this year’s entries? The housing, buildings, and construction category will seek to honour those leading the way in creating sustainable, energy-efficient living spaces and infrastructure. Green Export Initiative of the Year is keen to acknowledge companies making a mark internationally while maintaining a solid commitment to environmental responsibility. Interested in Tech for Good? Judges want to hear from innovators who are leveraging technology to solve critical environmental and social challenges, whilst this year’s Food Waste Reduction Initiative highlights efforts to combat one of the most pressing issues in sustainability.

With 15 categories available to enter, alongside our new judge-nominated ‘Green Legacy Award’ and overall ‘Sustainable Business of the Year 2024’ award, there are plenty of options across all sectors. Entering the Awards is completely free, and businesses can submit as many projects as they wish across multiple categories.

Whether you’re an individual, a start-up, or an established business, there will be a category that fits your work or project. To find out more, visit www.allirelandsustainability.com and submit your entries before it’s too late!
