Time is running out to submit your entry for the inaugural Northern Ireland Hummingbird Awards, with the deadline fast approaching on Monday 3rd February at 5pm.
These awards shine a spotlight on individuals and organisations across Northern Ireland that are making a difference in advancing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
The awards luncheon will take place on Thursday 20th March 2025, at Belfast City Hall, where the diverse range of 10 award categories will honour the exceptional contributions of both individuals and organisation to EDI in workplaces and communities.
The award categories are:
- Diverse Employer – Recognising organisations that champion diversity at every level.
- Workplace EDI Champion – Celebrating individuals driving transformative inclusivity.
- Marketing Campaign – Honouring innovative campaigns that promote EDI.
- Education for All – Recognising initiatives ensuring equal access to education.
- Allyship – Highlighting individuals or groups actively supporting underrepresented communities.
- Innovation in Accessibility – Spotlighting advancements that improve access and inclusion.
- Community Project – Celebrating grassroots projects creating meaningful change.
- Sustainability Champion – Recognising those linking EDI and environmental impact.
- Inspirational Role Model – Honouring leaders inspiring others to embrace EDI.
- Supporting Neurodiverse Talent – Highlighting initiatives championing neurodiversity in workplaces or communities.
By celebrating trailblazers in EDI, the NI Hummingbird Awards aim to inspire others to adopt inclusive practices, paving the way for a more equitable society.
