Position: Business Development Executive

Reporting to: Sales Director

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Responsible to grow sales within their allocated region by promoting the service and brand name of Nicholl Oils.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of existing commercial customers.
  • Understand the competitor market to support the business strategy for product pricing so we remain competitive in our sector.
  • Regular telephone communication with potential or existing customers, processing orders and recording and updating records and data.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and report any customer issues to the Sales Manager.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and forecast to management team.
  • To attend weekly / monthly sales meetings for your area and for the Nicholl Oils Group.
  • Liaising with the Marketing Department with any promotional or general marketing material.
  • To liaise and work closely with all other functions across the business, i.e. accounts, credit control, distribution.
  • To comply with Company training requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager

Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience within a Field Sales or Business Development role within the Fuel / Oil distribution sector or B2B sector that included the following:Delivering growth in a competitive environment

Direct Selling to the Customer

Targeting and delivering new business including cold calling.

Supporting and retaining existing customers.

Ideally, you will be based in the target area and have a strong knowledge of the B2B business    within this area.

Location: Head Office, Greysteel

This is primarily an office-based role but on occasion there may be a requirement to visit customers on their premises.

Hours: 40 hours per week (30-minute lunch break unpaid)

Monday to Friday

Salary: Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
