Is your organisation ‘buying social?’ If so, we want to hear from you!

If your organisation is ‘buying social’ and using social enterprise organisations within your supply chain, then Social Enterprise NI would like to hear from you for our upcoming annual awards taking place later in the year.

Applications are currently open for social enterprises based in N. Ireland to submit an application(s) from 14 award categories that are for up grabs and will announced at the awards night taking place at The Crown Plaza on 14th October 2022 (our first awards event in person since before the global pandemic!).

The SENI awards, now on their 10th year have been created to showcase, recognise, and commend some of the most innovative organisations and individuals operating within the social enterprise sector in N. Ireland. With over 500 guests at the last in person event in 2019 and a reach of over 1.2 million on Twitter during the event on the night, with over 2.5 million in total on all platforms, it is set to be a night to remember with engagement across all business sectors.

How can private organisations get involved?

We are always open to collaboration with private sector organisation and there are two ways businesses can get involved with this year’s awards ceremony.

1 Win an award on the night

Yes, that’s right! This year we have a Social Partnership/Market Building of the Year award under the ‘Collaboration’ award category. This award celebrates the power of collaboration across sectors and how successful partnerships leverage combined resources to reach new people and see greater impact of a particular campaign, investment, or initiative.

The award is open to organisations that either work in partnership with social enterprises or who support the growth of the sector through their work e.g. through financial investment. providing specialist expertise or supporting business projects. It is also open to organisations who can demonstrate how they have utilised organisations within the social sector to provide services and products within their business supply chain.

2 Sponsor #SocEntNIAwards22

The other way to get involved is to sponsor and attend the awards event. There are a range of different options available within the sponsorship package to suit various budgets. Sponsoring the awards and supporting the social sector in this way is a great opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate your support for the pursuit of excellence in social enterprise
  • Associate your organisation with the most innovative social enterprises in N. Ireland that are creating positive social impact within the community
  • Build powerful and comprehensive networks with N. Ireland’s social enterprise leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Build brand awareness and enhance your company profile in the sector
  • Influence supply chain leaders in the N. Irish social enterprise sector

If you are interested in discussing either of the above options or would like to request a sponsorship brochure, contact Amanda from #TeamSENI at amanda@socialenterpriseni.org.
