InterTradeIreland has launched a new independent study exploring how SMEs across the island are approaching artificial intelligence, and what support is needed to help more businesses benefit from it.

The study is being delivered by Sans Souci, a Belfast-based specialist team with strong experience in AI, business engagement and applied research, in partnership with Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University.

As part of the research, SMEs are invited to complete a short survey on AI awareness, current use, barriers, opportunities and support needs. The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete.

Businesses that take part can receive a personalised AI Readiness Scorecard. The scorecard will help show:
– Where your business currently stands on AI adoption
– The opportunities, gaps and barriers identified from your responses
– Where practical next steps may be useful

Participating businesses will also have access to a free AI Masterclass.

All responses will be treated confidentially and reported anonymously, in line with EU and UK GDPR.
