What a fantastic night at the Institute of Hospitality – Northern Ireland Awards for Professionalism 2026 on Friday evening! We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our Inspiro Learning apprentices, with Corey McVeigh from Nando’s Abbey Centre taking home the Outstanding Apprentice of the Year award! Corey was recognised for his commitment, professionalism and development throughout his apprenticeship, a fantastic achievement and one he should be incredibly proud of. We’re also delighted that Amber-Jo Woods from Holiday Inn Express, Antrim received a Special Commendation, recognising her achievements and dedication throughout her apprenticeship. A huge congratulations to Corey and Amber-Jo, and to our other finalists, Ella Beth Faulkner and Mary Ann Plan, who were all shortlisted for Outstanding Apprentice of the Year. Congratulations also to our trainers Gemma McKee, Cathy Hogg, Janet Boyd and Claire Duncan, whose learners were nominated for the award. Their dedication and support play such an important role in helping our apprentices develop their skills, confidence and careers. These achievements are a wonderful reflection of the talent and dedication of our learners, alongside the support of their employers and the commitment of our wider Inspiro team. Congratulations to everyone involved; we’re incredibly proud to support the next generation of hospitality talent in Northern Ireland.
