Belfast-based AI and software consultancy Hypership has been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s NI Tech Awards. The company is a finalist for Best Tech Start-Up, and co-founder Kyle Davidson has been shortlisted for Technologist of the Year.
The NI Tech Awards celebrate the people and companies pushing Northern Ireland’s tech sector forward. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Belfast city centre on Thursday 24 September.
Hypership works with businesses across discovery, end-to-end build and AI enablement, delivering production-grade software and helping teams adopt AI-native ways of working. Recent engagements include a six-week transformation programme with Belfast smart-energy firm Joulen, which saw every engineer in the business using AI daily by the end of the engagement.
Kyle Davidson, co-founder of Hypership, said: “Being shortlisted alongside so many strong Northern Ireland companies and technologists is a real vote of confidence in what we’re building. Hypership was founded on a simple idea: senior engineers working directly with clients, shipping real software and leaving teams stronger than we found them. It’s great to see that recognised.”
Hypership was founded by Kyle Davidson, previously Technical Director for AI at Kainos, and Shannon Holgate, previously Director of Software Engineering at Magnite. Find out more at hypership.tech.
