On Friday 24 October, GMcG Chartered Accountants’ Director team will take on a FIREWALK challenge for the firm’s 2025 charity partner, NI Chest Heart & Stroke.
By walking across red-hot embers, Susan Dunlop, Gabriel Greene, Lyn Canning Hagan, Nigel Moore, Robbie Milliken, Stephen Houston, Paul Black and Gill Johnston will prove that fear can be faced, limits can be pushed, and change can be made — one fiery step at a time.
GMcG has organised some very successful fundraising activities in recent years, but this will undoubtedly be one of the most challenging to date. All for a very worthy cause, NI Chest Heart & Stroke.
Susan Dunlop, GMcG Managing Director, said:
“GMcG is delighted to have partnered with NICHS since the start of the year and our fundraising efforts will culminate with the Director team taking on the Fright Night Firewalk challenge on October 24th. As one of our key fundraising activities, we really wanted to go well beyond our comfort zone and the NICHS Firewalk certainly ticks that box.
What better way to overcome fear and test our limits than walking barefoot across red hot embers, all for such a great cause. We are very pleased that all eight GMcG Directors were willing to sign up for this and we know we will have the full support of all our employees and clients.”
NICHS is leading the fight against chest, heart and stroke illnesses in NI. The charity provides support for people affected, and works to prevent these illnesses by delivering health checks and health promotion programmes, funding research and campaigning for improved care, treatment and awareness.
