GMcG Abseil raises £9k for Charity

GMcG Chartered Accountants’ recent abseil has raised an impressive £9,000 for the firm’s 2022 charity partner, NI Hospice. Directors Susan Dunlop, Lyn Canning Hagan and Gill Johnston took to the dizzy heights of Belfast’s Europa Hotel on September 25th for the abseil.
The fundraising initiative, and the firm’s three brave volunteers, received a tremendous amount of support from employees, clients and friends of the firm. Susan Dunlop explains:
“We have been overwhelmed by the level of donations and messages of support. Lyn, Gill and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and all who provided us with much-needed moral support along the way!
All three of us were genuinely dreading what lay ahead, but it actually turned out to be quite an exhilarating experience! It goes without saying, the support from so many colleagues and clients meant a huge amount to us and to our charity partner, NI Hospice. It is an amazing local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to 4,000 infants, children and adults each year across Northern Ireland.”
