The All-Ireland Sustainability Awards are thrilled to announce the finalists for this year’s prestigious event, held in partnership with Climeaction. A total of 86 finalists have been selected across 15 categories, representing a broad spectrum across the sustainability agenda, including Social Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year, Tourism & Hospitality Initiative of the Year, Young Changemaker, Biodiversity Initiative, Energy Initiative of the Year, and more.
The standard of this year’s applications was exceptionally high, and the judging panel faced the challenge of narrowing down the submissions which showcased numerous outstanding projects and initiatives demonstrating innovative approaches to sustainability from across the island.
Danielle McCormick, Founder of the All-Ireland Sustainability events, comments, “I, alongside all our partners in this year’s event, look forward to welcoming guests and finalists to this year’s gala event, which will be held on 24th October 2024 at the La Mon Hotel & Country Club, Belfast. It will be a fantastic opportunity to share, showcase and celebrate the remarkable achievements of this year’s finalists, as well as announcing both the highly coveted Sustainable Business of the Year, and our new prestigious Green Legacy award, which has been nominated and awarded by our Judges to an individual or organisation who had demonstrated outstanding contribution within the sustainability sector.”
Danielle closes by adding, “I’d personally like to thank each of our partners and judges. Their support has been crucial to the success of this year’s event. I would also like to thank each and every applicant for getting involved in sharing their stories and journeys so far. A huge well done to you all for your success and on the positive impact that you are helping to drive forward!”
This year’s sponsors include Danske Bank, NIE Networks, Everun, AD Sustainability, InterTradeIreland, Adler & Allan, Visit Belfast, CIWM, and Ground Control, along with media partner U105.
