Workshops on social media for business, how to prepare for Black Friday and using data technology to improve decision making and productivity, are just some on offer.
Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Alderman Margaret Tinsley, commented:
“The theme of Enterprise Week is ‘Entrepreneurs Thrive Here’, and I am confident that this years’ programme of events can support this vision in our borough. It has been designed specifically to address the current challenges of the local business community; offering events across a wide spectrum of topics, and featuring inspirational role models, industry specialists and professionals.”
“It is an opportunity to celebrate and empower our entrepreneurs and I encourage the business community to sign up for these free events.”
A key fixture in the business calendar, Enterprise Week is aimed at the whole business sector from the budding entrepreneur to the well-established firm. The week-long programme will not only help businesses overcome practical day-to-day issues, but it will also help them access the continually evolving support and guidance to adapt and innovate in order to ensure sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
“Enterprise Week has always been an important initiative in our events calendar. We have a long-established reputation as being open for business, which has not only helped sustain but also strengthened the local economy. Initiatives such as Enterprise Week demonstrates that we are committed to encouraging an entrepreneurial culture by working in partnership in the borough’ said Ciaran Cunningham, Banbridge Enterprise Agency on behalf of local enterprise partners.
The Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Enterprise Week will coincide with Global Entrepreneurship Week – which celebrates enterprise and entrepreneurial people.
