DIT and Invest Northern Ireland partner to offer free new courses for budding Northern Ireland exporters

Business owners and entrepreneurs across Northern Ireland will receive tailored support to boost their exporting skills and sell their goods and services to new markets around the world, thanks to a new agreement between the Department for International Trade and Invest Northern Ireland.

The MoU was signed on Wednesday 17 August by the UK Minister for Exports, Andrew Griffith, who arrived in Northern Ireland to meet with key Invest NI decision makers and discuss how to help Northern Ireland SMEs enhance their exporting skills.

This collaboration between DIT and Invest NI delivers export support training through the UK Export Academy, which aims to build the exporting capabilities of SMEs throughout Northern Ireland.

The Export Academy modules, which are delivered online and free of charge, are open to all Northern Ireland business regardless of their size or stage of exporting journey, to ensure that as many businesses as possible can learn from experts in international trade and successfully sell around the world.
