Hilden Primary School in Lisburn first opened in 1912 to serve the children of Hilden Mill workers. After closing in 2008, the Grade B1 listed building sadly fell into disrepair.

Thanks to a £2 million investment led by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council in partnership with the Resurgam Trust and The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the school has now been beautifully restored and repurposed as a vibrant community hub.

Alexander Boyd Displays was proud to have helped bring its story to life for Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.

The team at Alexander Boyd produced and installed wall vinyls and wrapped MDF panels on split battens to create a professional, flexible display solution.

Visitors can now learn about the Mill School, its pupils, and its place in Lisburn’s industrial and social history through carefully curated, visually impactful displays.
