Design ID are working in collaboration with Henry Brothers to deliver a state-of-the-art Vehicle Test Centre in Mallusk, Northern Ireland.
As lead civil engineers on this landmark project, our team has taken responsibility for:
- Site levels and earthworks
- Hardstanding and drainage design
- Integrating sustainable and cost-effective design solutions
A key innovation has been the use of the subbase for surface water storage, which removes the need for plastic attenuation crates. This approach not only reduces construction costs but also minimises the environmental impact, aligning with sustainable engineering practices.
The project is now well underway in the construction phase, and we are excited to see this cutting-edge facility taking shape alongside Henry Brothers.
