Local firm chosen from across NatWest’s millions of customers to feature on front cover of prestigious publication
NatWest has shone a high-profile light on Cookstown firm Maxflow’s success in the UK bank’s annual report published this month.
Maxflow, which manufacturers industrial pressure washers and generators, features on the front cover of the major document that has been shared with tens of thousands of influential people across the UK and beyond.
Maxflow has been a customer of Ulster Bank, which is part of NatWest Group, for 20 years. In recent years, Maxflow has undergone a management buy-out and has invested in its manufacturing capabilities and workforce.
Ulster Bank supported the buyout of Maxflow with a multi-million-pound package and continued to provide the company with working capital, invoice discounting and trade finance.
Now, with phase one of a three-phase manufacturing facility in place, Maxflow Power Products is progressing with confidence. Since the buyout, staff numbers have increased and the company continues to strengthen its presence across the UK, the Republic of Ireland and in international markets.
Leona McNicholl, Relationship Manager at Ulster Bank, says: “I am extremely pleased that from the millions of customers NatWest has, Maxflow has been chosen as a case study for the NatWest annual report and to feature so prominently on the front cover. I think this says a huge amount about Maxflow itself, the calibre of businesses we have in Mid-Ulster and Northern Ireland, and the regard NatWest has for Ulster Bank and our customers. Ulster Bank has worked closely with Maxflow for over 20 years, and we are very pleased to continue to support and celebrate its success”.
Ryan Wylie, Managing Director, Maxflow Power Products, said: “Ulster Bank has been instrumental in supporting our growth and gives us the confidence to go forward and make big investment decisions. They understand our business and how it works, and without those facilities in place we simply wouldn’t be able to grow at the rate that we are.”
