The draft guidance (Unfair Commercial Practices: Price Transparency) outlines new price transparency requirements and what traders need to do and avoid (including ‘drip’ and ‘partitioned’ pricing) to ensure they are complying with these requirements.
It also provides non-exhaustive illustrative examples of how businesses can comply and scenarios to increase understanding of the new requirements.
We are asking stakeholders if they have any comments or feedback on the guidance document. Written responses should be submitted by 11.59 pm on Monday, 8 September 2025 to consumerguidance@cma.gov.uk.
