Concept Occupational Health is proud to announce that it has been awarded “Nursing & Midwifery Project of the Year” at the prestigious All Island Private Healthcare Excellence Awards, held at the Crowne Plaza Belfast on 25th April 2026.
The Nursing & Midwifery Project of the Year category recognises exceptional nursing and midwifery initiatives that improve patient care and enhance outcomes. The award celebrates innovation, leadership, collaborative working, and forward-thinking solutions that drive positive change within healthcare services.
The category was open to nurses, midwives, and healthcare teams who have developed or implemented projects demonstrating a measurable positive impact on patient care, healthcare delivery, or workforce wellbeing.
Announcing the award, Pamela Ballantine praised Concept Occupational Health for its “innovative and proactive approach to occupational health, particularly in driving early intervention and strengthening return-to-work outcomes.”
She further highlighted that, “Under Rachel Mearns’ leadership, the service demonstrates the growing importance of occupational health in supporting both individual wellbeing and workforce resilience.”
The award was presented by Professor Rita Devlin, Executive Director of the Royal College of Nursing Northern Ireland.
