Cleaver Fulton Rankin strengthens Dispute Resolution team with new appointments

Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s Dispute Resolution team continues to be one of the largest litigation teams in Northern Ireland, recognised as a leading practice on a national level with expert legal professionals and recognitions in prestigious UK Legal Directories.

The Dispute Resolution team at Cleaver Fulton Rankin has grown with nine legal appointments, strengthening the firm’s litigation and alternative dispute resolution practice. Individual team members specialise across a broad spectrum of dispute resolution practice areas to include, banking, business, construction, debt recovery, energy, insolvency and business restructuring, maritime, personal injury, probate and trusts, procurement and property. The team continues to advise on significant cases in Northern Ireland; earlier in 2022, the firm’s Dispute Resolution team were appointed to assist with the Muckamore Abbey Hospital Inquiry. Having undergone specialist vulnerable witness training, a team of 16 Solicitors from Cleaver Fulton Rankin are in the process of taking witness statements and compiling sensitive witness evidence for one of Northern Ireland’s largest ever Public Inquiries.

Most recently, Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s Contentious Trusts and Probate team were recognised in the Chambers 2023 High Net Worth Guide for Private Wealth Disputes. Managing Director, Jonathan Forrester, continues to be recognised as the leading lawyer in Private Wealth Disputes in Northern Ireland, while Associate, Rachael Gamble received recognition as an Associate to Watch. The Dispute Resolution team continues to be ranked as a Tier 1 firm in The Legal 500 Guide 2022.

The firm has made a number of significant hires to the Dispute Resolution team in recent months, including Kerry McCloy, who joined as Innovation and Legal Technology Director.
