As a responsible business, Cleaver Fulton Rankin has signed the Business in the Community NI Climate Action Pledge, making a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and setting ambitious targets to enhance its sustainability.
Cleaver Fulton Rankin joins a host of local businesses committed to taking positive steps to protect the environment. By signing the Pledge, Cleaver Fulton Rankin has demonstrated its commitment to achieving a 50% reduction in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions by 2030, in order to positively contribute towards the path to net zero.
Cleaver Fulton Rankin continues to prioritise its responsible business targets, and has made a commitment to training, developing action plans and resources, and implementing measurement and reporting tools through the Climate Action Pledge. Earlier this year, members of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Group undertook carbon literacy training, building awareness and exploring the challenges and opportunities that climate action presents. This training was funded by the Linen Quarter Business Improvement District (LQ BID) and delivered by Business in the Community NI. The firm has taken a number of positive actions in order to reduce its carbon footprint, such as introducing an eco-friendly managed print service, and introducing a walking group through the use of the ‘Treekly’ app, which rewards step targets by planting mangrove trees in Madagascar.
