Cleaver Fulton Rankin shortlisted for ‘Excellence in Innovation’ at Belfast Telegraph Business Awards

Cleaver Fulton Rankin has been shortlisted for ‘Excellence in Innovation’ at the Belfast Telegraph Business Awards 2022, recognised for the development of its Legal Technology Group and its commitment to innovation.

The ‘Excellence in Innovation’ category recognises businesses that have placed innovation at the forefront of recent developments, including adopting a culture of continuous improvement and demonstrating the importance of innovation to improved business results. As an innovative and progressive NI law firm, Cleaver Fulton Rankin has placed innovation at the heart of its strategic plans with a number of key initiatives to streamline and digitise its internal processes and procedures.

Launching the Legal Technology Group in 2021, Cleaver Fulton Rankin became the first indigenous NI law firm to establish such a group. Kerry McCloy, Innovation and Legal Technology Director, was appointed in 2021 to lead the team and drive forward key innovation initiatives.

The firm’s Legal Technology Group provides managed document review and expert eDiscovery solutions to nearshore law firms and NI corporate clients, whilst providing support to the firm’s specialist legal teams to enhance client service delivery. The Group utilises cutting-edge legal technology software and provides innovative solutions regarding high volume, document-intensive legal work, delivering time and cost efficiencies for clients.

This unique service offering has enabled Cleaver Fulton Rankin to be a driving force in the modernisation of the NI legal sector.
