Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has been awarded ‘Distributor of the Year’ at the Chemical Business Association’s annual Chemical Supply Chain Awards 2026.

This prestigious award recognises outstanding achievements and celebrates excellence across the industry. Brenntag UK&I stood out for its commitment to sustainability and safety, with the judging panel also highlighting our strong focus on customer experience and continuous improvement driven by empowering our people to lead change.

The Chemical Business Association Awards, known as The Chemmies, took place on 27th November at the iconic Tower Ballroom in Blackpool. The event honours businesses making a significant impact in the sector. Brenntag was proud to be shortlisted in three categories:

• Young Person of the Year – Ahmad Doust
• Made a Difference / Lifetime Achievement Award – Gerry Simms
• Distributor of the Year

As the final award of the evening, Distributor of the Year recognises companies demonstrating leadership, innovation, and excellence. Brenntag excelled across all these areas.
