Translink recently welcomed representatives from organisations across Northern Ireland to Belfast Grand Central Station for its Better on Board Charter Partner Update.
The event provided an opportunity to find out about the latest developments across the public transport network and the role local businesses can play in encouraging more sustainable travel.
Attendees also heard from Margaret Patterson-McMahon of Townsend Enterprise Park, Tasha Thompson of Belfast Chamber and John McCann of Queen’s University Belfast who shared their experiences of encouraging sustainable travel within their workplace.
Employees swapping even one or two car journeys a week for the bus or train, collectively can make a real difference – reducing congestion, improving air quality and supporting a more sustainable future.
