Northern Ireland’s business community and Defence are increasingly working together to build stronger, more resilient organisations and a new event at Windsor Park will bring that partnership into focus.
On Thursday 7 May 2026, Defence Relationship Management Northern Ireland will host Business & Defence: Whole-of-Society in Action, bringing together employers, senior military leaders, reservists, and representatives from cadet and volunteer organisations.
The event will explore how closer collaboration between business and Defence can deliver tangible benefits to employers, including:
Strengthening workforce capability and resilience
Supporting employees who serve as reservists
Delivering social value across Northern Ireland
Through a series of focused panel discussions, attendees will hear directly from employers already benefiting from engagement with Defence, alongside insights from reservists balancing civilian careers and military service.
With workforce challenges and skills development high on the agenda for many organisations, the session will provide practical examples of how businesses can engage with Defence in a way that supports both operational needs and wider organisational goals.
The event also offers networking opportunities with leaders from across Northern Ireland’s business community and Defence, with a networking lunch and optional behind-the-scenes stadium tour included.
Date: Thursday 7 May 2026 Time: 10:30am – 2pm Location: National Stadium, Windsor Park, Belfast
