Bank of Ireland has announced a range of supports for those affected by flooding this week. Bank of Ireland can support businesses and homeowners impacted by the floods by providing payment flexibility on existing products as well as temporary overdraft and loan facilities.
Mortgage customers who are concerned about maintaining their payments due to the impact of flooding are encouraged to get in touch to discuss the range of support available to them.
Recognising the particular impact of the adverse weather in Newry, Bank of Ireland’s Newry branch will host a drop-in clinic for customers in the area impacted by the flooding on Tuesday 7 November from 10am – 4pm where branch and business advisors will be on hand to discuss the support available.
Discussing the various supports, George Higginson, Managing Director NI and UK Strategic Partnerships, Bank of Ireland UK said:
“The recent weather has been devastating for some of our customers and we are committed to providing support to them and communities across the country who are impacted by the flooding. We will take a flexible approach to payments on mortgages and we are providing additional assistance for business customers at this time. I would really encourage customers to come and talk to us if they have been affected and need that support. I hope everyone stays safe during this severe weather”.
