b10 is preparing to open applications for selected CTI Partners, giving consultancies, agencies, advisors and transformation specialists access to a structured commercial maturity diagnostic that can support better client conversations, clearer roadmaps and more commercially responsible improvement planning.

The Commercial Transformation Index, or CTI, is b10’s diagnostic model for assessing commercial maturity across 10 commercial domains, 50 criteria, 250 points and more than 1000 signals.

It is designed to help organisations understand where their commercial systems are underdeveloped, disconnected or restricting growth.

For many growing businesses, the visible problem is rarely the whole problem. A company may believe it needs a new website, a CRM rebuild, a marketing campaign, a sales process review or an automation project. Sometimes that is true. However, very often, those issues are symptoms of a wider commercial system problem.

The real constraint may sit across several connected areas: ICP clarity, positioning, pricing, website journey, CRM structure, marketing activity, sales process, operational handoff, automation, reporting, retention or customer success.

When those areas do not work together, businesses can experience weak visibility, inconsistent follow-up, poor conversion, manual work, founder dependency and revenue leakage.

That creates a practical challenge for consultants, agencies and advisors. Client conversations can become tactical too early. The client asks for a specific fix. The advisor scopes the requested work. Only later does the deeper commercial constraint become visible.

CTI is intended to provide a more disciplined starting point.

Instead of beginning with assumptions, partners can use a structured diagnostic to assess commercial maturity before moving into implementation. That creates a clearer view of what needs fixed, why it matters, and which improvements should be prioritised first.

For clients, this means stronger evidence, clearer decision-making and less risk of investing in isolated fixes that do not solve the wider commercial problem.

For partners, it creates a credible front-end diagnostic that can support advisory work, transformation planning, CRM projects, sales and marketing reviews, operational improvement, automation planning and wider commercial transformation conversations.

Why the CTI Partner model matters

b10’s position is simple:

Commercial Transformation should not rely on isolated fixes.

A website is not separate from the buyer journey. CRM is not separate from sales process. Marketing is not separate from qualification and follow-up. Automation is not separate from operational workflow. Retention is not separate from the promises made during sales.

These areas need to operate as part of one commercial system.

CTI helps identify where that system is weak, disconnected or underdeveloped. ACE, b10’s Autonomous Commercial Engine framework, provides the implementation architecture behind it where deeper commercial systems work is required.

In simple terms:

  • CTI diagnoses the commercial maturity gap.
  • ACE provides the structure for turning that diagnosis into connected commercial improvement.

That distinction is important. A diagnostic without implementation logic can become another report. Implementation without diagnosis can become expensive guesswork. CTI and ACE are designed to work together: first identify the commercial constraints, then build the roadmap, systems and operating model required to improve them.

Who the partner opportunity is for

The CTI Partner route may be relevant for consultancies, CRM specialists, RevOps advisors, sales and marketing agencies, transformation specialists, business advisors, fractional commercial leaders and implementation partners that already support B2B organisations with commercial improvement.

Good-fit partners are likely to work across areas such as:

commercial strategy, CRM, sales process, marketing operations, website performance, automation, operational workflow, customer success, revenue operations or business transformation.

The common requirement is not a specific service category. It is a shared belief that businesses should diagnose commercial maturity before investing in disconnected tools, campaigns or implementation work.

b10 does not intend CTI to become a superficial audit or generic lead magnet. The partner opportunity will be selective because the value of the model depends on consistent use, responsible positioning and quality control.

The aim is to build a partner route that helps more organisations access structured commercial maturity diagnostics while preserving the quality and credibility of CTI.

b10 is now preparing the application process and will invite interested organisations to register interest before formal applications open.
