Plans for a major housing development in Doagh have been given the go-ahead by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.
The application by Kenny Homes represents an investment of up to £9m, and the creation of 40 construction jobs.
A total of 43 dwellings made up of 34 semi-detached and nine detached homes are to be built opposite Mill Green, with access to the new development from Mill Road.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Alderman Stephen Ross added: “This is welcome news and represents another step towards the Council achieving its target of securing £1bn of investment to the Borough by 2025.”
Chair of the Planning Committee, Alderman Fraser Agnew said: “I am pleased that planning permission has been granted for this new investment in Doagh, which will help attract new residents to our Borough and provide a boost to the local economy.”
