Staycation Market Set to Remain Vibrant
CAMPERVAN specialists, Jans Lifestyle and Bespoke are set to exhibit at the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC Birmingham from 18th – 23rd October 2022.
Both companies are part of the Jans Group; Jans Lifestyle, with a retail unit on the Boucher Road, specialises in the sale and hire of campervans, alongside camping and leisure equipment and Ballymena based, Bespoke, is a leisure vehicle manufacturer which specialises in the conversion of VW campervans.
The holiday market has changed tremendously in the last two to three years with the staycation market experiencing a boom. As a result, campervan sales in the UK and Ireland have rocketed with some estimates suggesting as many as one in three ‘leisure vehicles’ being sold in the UK are campervans.
Both Bespoke and Jans Lifestyle have seen an uptake in their respective businesses.
Bespoke has an excellent reputation within the industry for supplying top-of-the-range vehicles fitted with the latest technology and equipment. VW Qualified and NCC approved, every campervan is manufactured to EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval Standard.
More recently, Jans Lifestyle doubled their rental fleet to cope with the rising demand for hire as well as the sale of campervans.
Managing Director Neil Jarvis said, “Since the pandemic, the ‘staycation’ market across the UK and Ireland has skyrocketed with many families, friends and couples re-discovering the delights that are right on their doorstep.
“Many begin with renting a campervan, others will directly purchase a campervan; it depends on their individual personal circumstances. What we are also seeing, are families trading in their second car for a campervan, but there’s no denying the love of the iconic VW campervan is still strong from the young to the old.”
