  • Ambit CRE is the new name from 1 June 2026
  • The business has been established in Belfast for more than 50 years
  • Board of Directors and full team unchanged

Following a strategic review by its Board of Directors, Lisney Belfast, first established in 1974, will rebrand as Ambit CRE (Commercial Real Estate).

The new identity will formally be revealed on 1 June 2026, when the property consultancy based in Belfast city centre will operate independently from the Lisney brand. The move marks a significant new chapter in the company’s evolution and long-standing presence in the Northern Ireland commercial property market.

Managing Director Gareth Johnston will continue to lead the experienced team alongside Directors David McNellis, Ciaran O’Kane and John Coyle.

Gareth Johnston said: “This move reflects our ambition to strengthen our positioning while expanding our service offering across the commercial property market. We have recently strengthened our team and made significant investments in technology, and this is a natural progression for the company. Ambit CRE is more than a change of name, our new brand identity reflects our modern, innovative approach and our focus on delivering tailored solutions that add value for clients.”

The team behind Ambit CRE has been active recently selling several of Belfast’s highest profile urban regeneration opportunities, including 148,000 sq. ft. Clarence Court, 35,000 sq. ft. Harvester House, 13,000 sq. ft. Fermanagh House and 23,000 sq. ft. Victoria Hall.

Gareth added: “While we are proud of our heritage, the team is excited about the opportunities ahead. Our clients will continue to work with the same trusted advisors, with the independence and flexibility to respond quickly to market opportunities.

“Clients, suppliers and external partners have been informed. While it is business as usual, we look forward to introducing our new brand identity externally in the coming weeks .”
