Nordic Facades offer three main types of facade system known as Woodfac, Alufac and Napsu which are produced from wood, aluminium or a combination of both.
All wooden facade systems only use wood that is FSC® and PEFC™ certified and comes from sustainably managed forests, where these is traceability and legality in the value chain. Alufac is the market’s only 100% sustainable facade system with certified sustainable aluminium known as Greenline Aluminium. This innovative solution is produced from 100% collected and recycled aluminium and uses only 5% of the energy used to produce primary aluminium.
Sustainability is of paramount importance to Nordic Facades and extends to their fire safety measures. An innovative fire impregnation solution from fellow Belfast based company HALT NFR is used for the impregnation of wooden slats to provide protection from fire. It is a 100% non-toxic, environmentally friendly and biodegradable solution and is the only fire retardant on the market that has achieved accreditation, approval and full classification according to EN16755.
