Identity Travel – Sustainability Summit: Developing a Sustainable Travel & Events Programme 

On 1st June at ICC Belfast, Identity Travel welcome clients and prospects for an insightful event focused on building more sustainable travel & events programmes. As business travel returns under increased scrutiny, the session will explore how organisations can reduce Scope 3 emissions while still supporting commercial objectives, employee wellbeing, and growth. 

Drawing on best practice frameworks, attendees discussed practical approaches to sustainable travel — from smarter carbon budgeting and rethinking air travel, to prioritising rail, low‑carbon ground transport, and responsible venue choices. Our firm belief is that integrating sustainability into a combined travel & events programme can deliver measurable results, aligning ESG commitments with cost efficiency and operational reality. 

We will explore the importance of data, culture change, and leadership in driving long‑term impact, reinforcing that sustainability and business performance are not competing priorities, but complementary ones.

• 15:30: Working groups (rotating) – Discussion on hot topics, with the panellists leading a table each. 3 x groups of 8 delegates on rotation at 20 minutes.
