As it is the Northern Ireland Year of Food and Drink, SERC would like to invite you to a showcase meal in the Birches Restaurant at our Bangor campus on Wednesday 26 October from 6-9pm.
The 3 course meal will be created from
all local produce. It will be prepared by our Catering Traineeship students and
served by our Level 2 Food and Beverage students. If you are still working
within the Catering and Hospitality industry, the event will be an
opportunity to hear about the current landscape of training within Catering.
With signs of economic growth and employment on
a rising trend, Northern Ireland must continue to strengthen its skills systems
to meet future demand and avoid being outpaced by international competitors.
