Say Oh Yeah! to Belfast’s first Twitter Masterclass
23 Oct 2014
October 23, 2014
Legendary screenwriter David Schneider and twitter guru David Levin will lead their famous Twitter Masterclass in the Cathedral Quarter’s Oh Yeah centre on 23rd of October. The duo, who have presented shorter slots at TechXplore earlier this year and last year, are bringing the two-hour Masterclass to Northern Ireland for the first time.
The Masterclass is vital for anyone who tweets as part of their job, who wants to build their brand on social media or who just wants to make their tweets more interesting.
David Schneider is an actor, screenwriter and comedian who appeared in Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, The Day Today and has written many plays, sitcoms and screenplays. An avid tweeter with over 155,000 followers, he now also directs TV ads and makes viral comedy videos and pictures for clients such as The Huffington Post.
David Levin is one of the UK’s handful of professional full-time tweeters. He turned to Twitter full time after setting up a spoof account for a pub in Hackney, @the_dolphin_pub, which gathered a cult following and ranked among the top twitter accounts during London 2012, The BRITs and TV shows such as Drugs Live; and was named in Time Out’s ‘Favourite London Tweeters’. On the back of the dolphin’s success, David has gone on to tweet for BBC One’s The Voice (@BBCTheVoiceUK), which broke BBC records for followers and engagement, The Apprentice (@bbcapprentice) and has worked with brands such as Adidas and MoneySupermarket.
“Both David Schneider and David Levin have been incredibly well received when they have presented at previous events. We’re delighted that they’ve taken the time to come to Belfast to present their full-length Twitter Masterclass and urge all those interested to get their tickets before the event sells out,” said Carl Whyte, Partner at MW Advocate, the team behind the event.
Tickets are £15 including a complementary drink and the event kicks off at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased online at https://getinvited.to/mwadvocate/tweetxplore-1/
