Event Description
This introductory 2 hour seminar will provide an overview of autism and the key differences that autistic people may experience. It will also cover what is meant by and what is included in the wider concept of ‘neurodiversity’. Finally the seminar will explore why inclusion and accessibility is so important for autistic and neurodivergent people, and the first steps you can take to building a ‘neuroinclusive’ approach.
Course aimed at any individual who would like to start their journey of understanding how to support and communicate effectively with autistic and neurodivergent people.
The virtual training will be fully interactive and will include opportunities for discussion and question and answer sessions.
