Event Description
Southern Regional College’s Faculty of Computing, Design and Academic Studies (CDAC) and the Business Support & Innovation Team invites you to a special employer engagement event: Creating Tomorrow’s Digital Workforce
- Thursday 27 November 2025
- 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
- SRC Banbridge Campus
As part of our 2025–2028 curriculum planning, we are shaping all Computing programmes — from short, recreational and accredited courses through to accredited Level 3 and Foundation Degree and BSc Honours degree-level pathways. To ensure these developments meet the needs of both IT and non-IT employers, we are seeking your insight into the digital and computing skills most needed in your sector.
This interactive session will:
- Share upcoming changes to our Computing curriculum and digital skills strategy.
- Gather direct employer feedback on future skills, technologies, and workforce needs.
- Launch the new SRC Digital Advisory Board, where key employers will collaborate regularly with SRC to shape ongoing provision.
Your input will directly influence how we prepare students for emerging roles in data, AI, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, creative media, and digital transformation across all industries.
We also want to hear on how we can support your needs through bespoke training, placement, projects and funded training.
If you are unable to attend but wish to join the SRC Digital Advisory Board, please let us know.
We look forward to working with you to ensure that the Southern Regional College remains at the forefront of digital innovation and talent development.
