ATU Letterkenny is a partner in the E-Data PeacePlus project, a cross-border initiative delivered in collaboration with Ulster University, Sustainable NI, Innovate NI and Manufacturing NI. The project’s core mission is to support SMEs on their digital transformation journey, helping them become more innovative, competitive and productive. As part of this initiative, we are organising a series of FREE workshops across the border counties. Our next session – an Introduction to Lean and Waste Reduction Strategies – takes place this Friday, 17th April 2026, from 9.30am to 12.30pm in Derry/Londonderry.

The workshop will be delivered by two highly experienced speakers, both of whom bring decades of practical Lean implementation experience:
• Dr Aurora Dimache, Senior Lecturer in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at ATU, and
• John Roulstone, Operations Manager at KIRCHHOFF
SMEs who register and attend our workshops will receive FREE access to all digital tools developed within the E-Data project, as well as personalised follow-on support – at NO cost. A recent Digital Support Review conducted by our team found that while many SMEs in the region are constrained by limited budgets, they are also unaware of the range of supports available to them. This workshop is designed to address both challenges directly.
