Complex Grievance & Disciplinary Management Full-day Workshop
22 Feb 2018
February 22, 2018
Following great feedback from our most recent session in 2017, Think People are pleased to offer a full-day workshop on the topic of managing complex grievance and disciplinary cases. Philip Moody, Senior HR Consultant will be facilitating the course and comes from an ER specialist role in his former employment. Having dealt with specific high level cases up to a corporate level across a high volume of cases, this experience offers practical and developmental support to ensure these sensitive matters are delivered to balance both the commercial needs and the duty of care the employer should provide.
Delegates will be provided with step by step guidance on complex case management, focusing around a number of key factors including dealing with the initial response, support regarding high level risk and suspension, preparation of packs/information gathering and guidelines around productive meetings.
Delegates will have the opportunity to get a deeper understanding of extreme cases, with a specific focus on the ever changing needs of the business in relation to Social Media. They will also understand the rationale behind dismissals and the legalisation that needs to be considered as thought processes in decision making and will additionally gain an understanding regarding the process of constructive or unfair dismissals and how to prepare for these situations.
