Ulster University Business School’s Sustainability Committee invites you to a networking breakfast exploring how authentic sustainability practices can enhance brand credibility while ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws.

Cecilia Parker Aranha, Director of Consumer Protection, UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, will provide insights into Green Claims Code and tackling greenwashing. Cecelia led the development of the “Green Claims Code” and is also the CMA’s Project Director for investigating misleading environmental claims. Attendees will hear firsthand from Cecelia about the purpose and application of the Green Claims Code and how organisations can avoid greenwashing when communicating to stakeholders about their sustainability credentials.
