Public Affairs Forum in partnership with Phoenix Energy

In partnership with Phoenix Energy, we are pleased to host Sir David Sterling KCB, the former Permanent Secretary at the Department of Finance, at this event.

This engaging forum will take place on Wednesday, 25 February, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Room2, Belfast.

Sir David Sterling KCB will share his insights on the corporation tax proposals considered during the 2011–16 mandate. He will discuss the intricacies of the implementation process and the reasons why the change did not materialise.

After Sir David’s presentation, a panel of esteemed business leaders will explore the potential advantages and challenges of implementing corporation tax in Northern Ireland. This stimulating discussion aims to determine if such tax reform could significantly enhance Northern Ireland’s competitive edge or if it remains an unattainable goal.
