About Annette McManus, Chief Marketing Officer, IntoMedia Group 

Annette McManus is a highly accomplished marketing and communications leader with a proven track record in media relations and strategic brand management. As Chief Marketing Officer at IntoMedia Group—the parent company of The Irish News, Q Radio, and Interpress—she leads the group’s marketing, brand development, and audience growth strategy.

Since joining the Group in 2021, Annette has spearheaded key initiatives, including the rebranding of The Irish News, solidifying its position as the top-selling regional newspaper in the UK and Ireland. She also led the Q Radio rebrand, enhancing engagement and achieving record listenership figures.

Annette has held senior roles across PR, communications, and marketing in diverse industries. She served as Communications Director at Morrow Communications, leading high-profile client accounts, and previously held positions as Communications Manager at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital and Business Transformation & Strategy Manager at BT Group. Her work has been recognised with numerous accolades, including Best Public Profile and Best Use of Video at the Irish Digital Media Awards, a Kinsale Shark Award, and over 10 CIPR Awards.

Annette holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations, a Diploma in Event Management (both with First Class Honours), and a BSc in Communications, Advertising, and Marketing from Ulster University. She is a Fellow of the European Institute of Communications.

With over 17 years of consultancy and in-house experience, Annette continues to shape the future of media marketing, strengthening IntoMedia Group’s influence in the Irish and UK markets.

About Gail Cook, Director of Marketing, Artemis Technologies

Gail has over 25 years experience working across B2B, B2C, public and private sectors. She is passionate about helping to decarbonise the planet.

Over the last 10 years she has led the strategic development of innovative products and solutions to help decarbonise heating within homes and businesses.

In early 2023 she joined Artemis Technologies bringing her knowledge and expertise of decarbonisation challenges to the maritime sector. An award-winning marketor, she is responsible for developing strategic marketing strategies that drive change within the maritime sector and help businesses adopt innovative solutions.

Gail is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

About Ciaran Connolly, Director and Founder, Profile Tree

Ciaran Connolly, director of ProfileTree Web Design and Digital Marketing Agency, has been helping companies and organisations implement AI across all departments – from marketing to operations and more.

He has supported government bodies, councils and business leadership teams in understanding how they can introduce AI and automation into their business to drive additional revenue and reduce costs.
