Representatives of around 150 local businesses had an opportunity to ‘meet a buyer’ at the Europa Hotel. It was the latest event in the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s ongoing ‘Connecting for Growth’ programme.
The initiative, which is held in partnership with Bank of Ireland UK, enables local companies to have face-to-face meetings with a wide range of major local businesses. Over 300 businesses from across Northern Ireland and the Republic joined the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber) and Bank of Ireland UK for the latest ‘meet the buyer’ event at the Canal Court Hotel in Newry.
The event, which formed part of the NI Chamber and Bank of Ireland’s cross-border ‘Connecting for Growth’ programme, provided businesses with an opportunity to make a pitch to a range of buyers and to network and forge new business links.

Businesses from across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland attended a ‘meet the buyer’ at Armagh City Hotel on 12 May 2015. This was the latest event hosted by Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber) in partnership with Bank of Ireland UK.
Fifteen high-profile buyers met with local businesses on the day including: Almac; BAM; Bank of Ireland; Belfast International Airport; Bombardier; Concentrix; Glanbia; Harland and Wolff; Irish Football Association; Irwin’s Bakery; MJM Marine; Mooney Hotel Group; Moy Park; Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) and The Beannchor Group.
