NI Chamber hosts In Camera with NILGA and local councils

NI Chamber, in partnership with SSE Airtricity, hosted an In Camera dinner yesterday evening (14 November 2018) with Derek McCallan, Chief Executive, Northern Ireland Local Government Association (NILGA) and a number senior representatives from local councils.
Derek was joined by:
- Stephen Reid, Chief Executive, Ards and North Down Borough Council
- Olga Murtagh, Strategic Director, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council
- Suzanne Wylie, Chief Executive, Belfast City Council
- Paul Beattie, Head of Service for Prosperity and Place, Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council
- Aeidin Mc Carter, Head of Culture, Derry City and Strabane District Council
- Robert Gibson, Director of Community, Health and Leisure, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council
- Donal Rogan, Director of Service Transformation, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council
- Anne Donaghy, Chief Executive, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council
- Councillor Seán Mc Peake, Chair, Mid-Ulster District Council
- Liam Hannaway, Chief Executive, Newry Mourne and Down District Council
The dinner, attended by over 60 NI Chamber members, featured an address by NILGA Chief Executive, Derek McCallan and allowed the senior representatives from the local councils the opportunity to provide an update to business on their major projects/initiatives and outline their current challenges and implications.
