New Chambers of Commerce online export resource to link exporters with global markets

The Chambers of Commerce network has announced the launch of a new website designed to support businesses at every stage of their export journey.
Export Britain (www.exportbritain.org.uk) showcases the opportunities available in key international markets and also helps growing and prospective exporters navigate through the export journey by signposting the support available every step of the way.
The launch of the new website coincides with the start of Export Week, a bi-annual national event which forms part of the UK government’s drive to double UK exports to £1 trillion by 2020 and get 100,000 more companies exporting.
Mark Nodder, President of NI Chamber of Commerce said:
“Exporters tell us that they need personal connections to help them enter new markets and open doors to opportunities. With Chambers of Commerce being the go-to business network for businesses looking to export, the Chamber network is delighted to launch the Export Britain website to put UK exporters in touch with the support they need.”
Ann McGregor, Chief Executive of NI Chamber of Commerce added:
“NI Chamber of Commerce has also recently launched a new service, ‘Chamber Connections’ which aims to not only help businesses make local connections but also gives them an opportunity to tap into the worldwide Chamber network and to seek advice from experienced exporting professionals.
“We have already offered support to 40 companies in the first few months of the service and a dedicated resource has been appointed to the NI Chamber team in order to help our members build commercial relationships around the world.”
