Belfast Businesses ‘Good to Grow’

Over 120 businesses from the Belfast area recently attended Danske Bank’s ‘Good to Grow’ breakfast event at Riddel Hall, hosted in partnership with the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce. Speaking at the event, Danske Bank Chief Economist Angela McGowan said: “With a number of economic indicators showing that we are finally turning the corner in terms of recovery, now is the time for our local companies to start investing in their businesses. Both business and consumer confidence are now on the up and I would expect this to have a positive impact on economic growth in the months ahead.” Delegates also heard from Danske Bank customers Barry Hobson, owner of Pirates Adventure Golf, and Head of Danske Bank’s Belfast Finance Centre Oonagh Murtagh, who highlighted how Danske Bank is providing practical and dynamic support for local businesses who are ‘good to grow’.
