NI Chamber: Concerns raised over Dublin air travel tax cut

Commenting on yesterday’s Irish Budget, Ann McGregor, Chief Executive of NI Chamber of Commerce said:
“The announcement of subsidised financial training programmes for small businesses is a measure that would also be welcomed in Northern Ireland.
“NI Chamber of Commerce is concerned at the decision to reduce the Air Travel Tax to zero. Although this will help airlines to develop new routes and build traffic volumes in the Republic of Ireland it will further damage Northern Ireland’s connectivity.”
