Maximising Your Membership

The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce provided members with the opportunity to ensure that they receive the most from their Chamber membership on Thursday 22 April 2010 at the Regus Business Centre, Cromac Street, Belfast.
Members were informed by NICC Business Development Director Oonagh O’Reilly on how to avail of the free services and those that are dramatically reduced in price for chamber members. Lorraine Milne of Westfield Health also outlined the benefits of the Westfield Health which is included with Chamber membership. In light of one of the key benefits of NICC membership being member to member networking, attendees were also given the opportunity to network through structured exercises enabling them to identify business opportunities throughout the event.
Simon Miskimmin, Internet Business Consultant at WSI commented on his first event as a Chamber member:
“I would like to congratulate all your team, for organising last night’s event. As you know it was our first NICC networking event and I was extremely pleased in relation to the quality of the event and the opportunities that should lead from it. I have been to so many events where you are left to network on your own after the speakers have finished and it just doesn’t work, as most people just head for the door.
NI Chamber of Commerce staff did an excellent job in interacting with the attendees, as well as getting them to interact with each other.
I am very much looking forward to the next event, if this is the quality that you commit to each time. Well done!”
